How Many Hours Do You Fly Per Month?

by Jason Schappert

Between work, school, and life, it can be hard to make time for flying. So my question to you…

  • That's Awesome! No better excuse than a flight out and back for the 100 dollar hamburger!

I just finished school, but being the first pilot in a large family means that everyone wants a ride to dinner! - We make it a point to go at least once every other weekend with someone, or I'll take friends up for the same reason.
  • Broadhead,

Glad you found the website! Please don't hesitate to e-mail me with any questions regarding flight training!

Aircraft ownership can be pricey, but there are many ways to reduce ownership costs (future post idea maybe :) Thanks for the comment. Stay in touch

I had to put myself in the 0 - 5, as I haven't learned to fly yet, so I have been up just as a passenger. Great website, I'm learning a lot, but I'm a little discouraged about buying an airplane now, I wasn't aware the cost of ownership is as high as it is.
  • Anywhere from 30 to just under 100 depending on my schedule. I've been bidding "highspeeds" which allow me to fly the night flight out and the morning flight back, giving me most of the day at home. It really keeps life and work in balance.

Unless I can hold 15+ days off for the month, I usually avoid regular trips since I have no time to take care of the house at all.
