Like any task keeping up with flying can be tough. As I encourage every pilot to be a permanent student when it comes to flight training (because a good pilot is always learning) setting goals can better help you check your progress and keep you on track.
Before flying with a student I usually like to check and see where there goals are at. Is this a hobby? Maybe a career change etc… Each and every student has different needs that must be met for success in the flight training arena. A good instructor should be able to help you clearly define attainable goals. For those more intraprenurial I’ve created a goal sheet for you to fill out.
Be sure to clearly define the goal and what steps need to be taken to achieve it. I have a list of goals saved as my desktop background that way I’m always looking at them and reminded of what action needs to be taken.
